Print No. 514: 75014 Braveheart

Standard Class 4 No.75014 'Braveheart' in BR lined black livery as preserved on the Dartmouth Steam Railway. The locomotive was buit in 1951 and withdrawn from service in December 1966. It arrived at Barry scrapyard in October 1967 and remained there until February 1981 when it was rescued by a syndicate based on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. It returned to steam in 1994 and spent a number of years (1995-1998 and 2000) working on 'The Jacobite' trains between Fort William and Mallaig. The locomotive was named 'Braveheart' in 2000 after the film that was shot in the West Highlands of Scotland.
