Stuart has been commissioned by the Chairman of 'The Railworld Trustees' to paint the British Railways Standard Class 5 locomotive No. 73050 'City of Peterborough'. The painting is to be donated by 'Railworld' and The Nene Valley Railway to Peterborough Town Hall.  It will hang alongside a replica nameplate from the locomotive which was purchased from British Railways by the Rev Richard Paten in 1968.  It has been based at The Nene Valley Railway for the past 40 years.

The image below shows 'work in progress' with almost half the painting complete. However, the chassis has yet to be added and this is time consuming work!



And a few weeks later ...... here is the finished artwork ready for collection!
